Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing swimming pools to ensure they are clean, safe, and operational. This role involves regular interaction with clients, requiring excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine pool cleaning tasks, including skimming debris, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
- Test and adjust water chemistry to maintain appropriate pH, chlorine, and alkalinity levels.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing.
- Identify and repair leaks, cracks, or other structural issues in pools and spas.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and chemical usage.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding pool maintenance, repairs, and safety recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations related to pool maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pool maintenance or a related field.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Strong understanding of pool water chemistry and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
