Spring 2027 build slots are being scheduled now. If you want to be swimming next summer, the planning starts this fall and winter. Here is how a Hometown Pool project moves from first conversation to swim-ready.
1. Tell us about your yard
Start with the New Pool Build Questionnaire. Share your yard, timeline and must-haves so we can prepare for a productive first visit.
2. PE-led site assessment
Our owner is a licensed professional engineer and serves as engineer of record on every install. The site assessment looks at grading, drainage, access and layout before anything is drawn.
3. Your private online proposal
You receive a private online proposal, itemized by scope, with renderings, a site plan and equipment packages (Essentials, Performance or Elite). Proposals are valid for 30 days, and you can request options like a spa, waterfall or automatic cover before you sign.
4. Engineering, drawings and permits
With a licensed P.E. as engineer of record, the engineering is handled in-house. As a Class A General Contractor (Johnson County #2026-0012131), Hometown handles permits and HOA approval documentation, then manages the build.
5. Build day to swim day
Hometown uses milestone payments, so money moves with completed work. During the build you have access to our website communication portal, where you can reach the whole team and we keep you up to date on your build progress. Our goal is to finish most builds within 12 weeks of shell set.

Most Hometown Pool projects fall between $140,000 and $200,000+, and we do not take on projects under $100,000. See why homeowners choose Hometown Pool, then start the questionnaire or call (913) 256-5296.
