A six-figure backyard deserves a clear proposal, one accountable builder, and a team you can reach from design through the final walk-through.
A fiberglass pool in Johnson County is a major home investment. Most Hometown Pool projects fall between $140,000 and $200,000+, and we don't take on projects under $100,000.
Buyers at that level need more than a brochure. They need a clear scope, a way to compare options before signing, and a builder who manages engineering, permits, and the trades under one roof. That is what Hometown Pool is set up to do.
Every serious buyer receives a private online proposal page. It is not a public web page: it is emailed to you from proposals@hometownpool.com and opens after device verification by email link. On that page you can review:
Proposals are valid for 30 days. From the proposal you can also:
Change orders are handled in writing per your contract. Once your build starts, communication moves to our website communication portal (see below).
Your proposal includes an “Adjust for features & budget” panel that shows an indicative price as you explore options. Option cards let you request a spa, waterfall, auto cover, or winter cover with one click.
Nothing in your published proposal changes until Hometown reviews your requests and republishes the proposal. You stay in control of the conversation; we stay accountable for the numbers.
Hometown structures payments by build milestone, so money moves with completed work rather than a single lump sum at the start. The details for your project are spelled out in your private proposal.
Financing, when used, is available through Lyon Financial, with loan amounts from $5,000 to $200,000 and terms up to 30 years. See our Financing page for examples.
Hometown quotes equipment as named packages: Essentials, Performance, or Elite. Every standard package includes Hayward ColorLogic 320 accent lights, and heaters are optional. The package names in your proposal match our Equipment Packages page.
Hometown Pool is a Class A General Contractor (Johnson County #2026-0012131) and an authorized Leisure Pools dealer, serving Johnson County and the Kansas City metro from Olathe.
We install Leisure Pools fiberglass shells: 30 models, many offered in more than one length. Beyond the shell, a Hometown proposal can include:
That means one company can coordinate the pool and the outdoor living pieces that usually force buyers to juggle multiple contractors. Hardscape, retaining walls, fencing, and landscaping are built with the experience of our sister company, Hometown Lawn.
In 2010, Holly and Dave founded Hometown Lawn to serve Johnson County landscapes. They later expanded into pool design and installation as Hometown Pool, carrying forward the same local team focus. Read more in Our Story.
Hometown Pool works with an in-house professional engineering firm (Engineering licenses: Kansas E-2153 and E-3749; Missouri 2017005624). Every pool is designed and engineered by the Hometown team, with a complete set of construction drawings, and Hometown manages permitting and the build under its Class A license.
During your build, you'll have access to Hometown's website communication portal. It's one place to reach the whole team: you can email the entire Hometown team from the portal, and we use it to keep you up to date on your build's progress. This build-phase portal is separate from the private proposal you review before you sign.
Tell us about your yard, timeline, and must-haves. We will follow with a PE-led site assessment and a private proposal you can review on your own schedule. Prefer to talk? Call (913) 256-5296.
